It can be difficult to find the right supplement to fit your needs, but it's easier at Hoover's Market. We always have a vitamin and supplement specialist on staff who is able to assist you. Currently we have herbalists, former nurses, and a health coach on staff. Our specialist go to meetings, conferences, and read up on the latest information to better assist out customers.

Special Orders

We take specials orders. If an item is available to us from our distributors, we will special order it for you.

When we receive the special order in store, you will be notified. The product will be held for 14 days. After 14 days, special orders are placed on the shelf for general sale.


Do specials orders cost extra?

There is no extra fee for specials orders.


What if the product I want is currently out of stock?

Employees will take down product and your contact info and you will be notified upon product delivery. There is no extra fee for wait-list special orders.




Our Stance on GMO's

GMOs, or genetically modified organisms, are products and by-products of living plants or animals that have been manipulated in a laboratory through genetic engineering.


In conventional grocery stores, approximately 80% of food items contain GMOs. Many countries, including the entire European Union, outright ban the use of GMOs as they are deemed unsafe. Because Hoover's Market is more concerned with our customer’s health over profits, we are currently in the process of removing all GMOs from our shelves.





Why Buy Organic?

What does organic mean?

For a living matter like plants and animals to be organic, they must be grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, GMO's or ionizing radiation. Animal and animal by-products must be raised on organic feed and free of antibiotics and growth hormones. Organic certification is a rigorous process; farms are routinely inspected and pay fees for government certification.


Why buy organic?

Organic is how nature intended. Organic farmers must care and adhere to crop rotation principles and nourish and revitalize soil in natural ways like composting. Studies find that organic practices are healthier for you and are without herbicide, pesticides and artificial fertilizers that have been shown to have links multitude of health risks including cancer.




Friday & Saturday Hours

Why do you close early on Fridays?

Our Friday closing hours adjust seasonally to close before sundown, so in summer months we may be open until 6:30 pm and winter months we may close as early as 5:00 pm.


Why are you closed on Saturdays?

Because of our commitment to our employees, we offer time from sundown Friday through Saturday as a time for rest and religious observance.




Return Policy

Our goal is to keep our customers happy with refunds, exchanges, and returns as outlined in this policy. Generally, we accept returns on unopened product with receipt within 30 days of purchase. Exceptions are listed below.


Is there a time limit on returns?

All returns must have receipt and be within 30 days of purchase.


Do you accept returns without a receipt?

Returns without receipts are subject to manager’s approval. If returns are approved by management, store credit will be issued on a gift card.


Do you accept returns on opened items?

Returns on opened products are subject to manager’s approval. If returns are approved by management, store credit will be issued on a gift card.

Pet & Service Animals Policy

Only Service Animals are allowed inside Hoover’s Market

  • Please remember service and therapy dogs are not allowed in shopping carts.
  • Pets are welcome to enjoy our outside eating area, but for their safety please do not leave them unattended.
  • Our policies are in Accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act & Food Service Laws.




Discount Guidelines

If a product is applicable for two (2) or more discounts, only the greatest of the discounts are applied. Discounts cannot be combined.

Bring Your Own Bag Discount

For customers who bring their own reusable bags, or decline our paper or plastic bags after purchase, we offer a 5¢ discount per bag saved.

  • Only for purchases of 3 items or more.
  • Cashiers will estimate how many bags were saved to apply discount.


Case & Bulk Quantity Discount Guidelines

This discount is for customers buying pre-ordered full cases or bulk bags over 25 lbs., not cases from the product sales floor. To receive the discount items must be in their original case (package, box, or bulk bag). Individual items collected on the sales floor, which are already out of their original cases, do not apply. Items already on sale, special, or discount do not receive Case & Bulk Quantity Discount. Employees cannot receive this discount as they already purchase items at a discounts.

Ask one of our associates, and we will give you a store walkthrough and guide you to products fitting your dietary needs.





How many locations do you have?
There is only one Hoover's Market, located in our original building in Altamonte Springs, Florida.


Do you have plans on expanding to another location?
There are currently no plans of expanding to a second location.





Policy Changes

Any changes that we make to our policies will be posted on our website. All policy changes go into effect on date posted in notices, and then only the new policies will apply and replace any prior policies.
